Our Environmental Charter
We do not inherit the earth from our parents; we borrow it from our children
Because it is both necessary and urgent to protect our beautiful island and planet, we have been committed since 2014 to an environmental initiative aimed at developing and implementing practical measures, such as waste sorting and reducing water and electricity consumption within our establishment.
We draw our guests’ attention to the different waste sorting methods and to their water and electricity consumption.
Through our reception staff, our welcome booklet and the notices displayed in the accommodation, we also raise awareness amongst our guests so that they become partners and active participants in this environmental policy.
In 2017, a SMART FLOWER was installed to track the sun’s path and thus optimise electricity production by 30 to 40 per cent.
Our entire team is trained and fully supports this eco-tourism approach, mindful of the impact on our island.
We also encourage our guests to take part in activities that bring them closer to nature, wildlife and flora, with partners who are themselves committed to either the Guadeloupe National Park or other organisations.
